Montague Public School and Uweleni Secondary School Video Chat

On Friday, 25 June, the students of Montague Public School and the studetns of Uweleni Secondary School used Skype to video chat with each other. Although, there were problems with the connection in Africa, the students were able to chat for about 45 minutes. All of the students involved were excited to see each other and ask questions.

Topics discussed included the clubs the students were involved with, the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico and how we can help to prevent it in the future, and the use of alternative energy resources in our communities. This was our first session video chatting, and we are looking forward to more focused discussions in the future.

The Global Schools Link is proud to help connect students from rural areas around the world. Keep up the good work and enjoy the summer!
