Global Schools Link has received a temporary new design. It came to our attention that schools using Internet Explorer were unable to login to their accounts with our old design. This new design ensures that all users, regardless of which web browser they use, are able to login. This new design is temporary while the GSL team works on a a new and improved design. Thanks for your patience and keep up the environmental work!

On Friday, 25 June, the students of Montague Public School and the studetns of Uweleni Secondary School used Skype to video chat with each other. Although, there were problems with the connection in Africa, the students were able to chat for about 45 minutes. All of the students involved were excited to see each other and ask questions.
On the 18th of May Community Forests Pemba came to Uweleni Secondary School to help plant 50 trees in order to help prevent further erosion around the school. Uweleni Students who participate in the Global Schools Link planted mtondoo seedlings (a hardwood native to Pemba), lychee seedlings, and cinnamon seedlings. The students of Uweleni then traveled down to Ng'ombeni Primary School to help plant 50 more trees around their school campus. Check out the photos!
GSL is proud to introduce our new photo gallery format. It is much easier to upload images and it is much easier to use. Check out the photos section to see it in action. A tutorial will be coming soon...
Today the students, teachers and parents of Montague Public School worked together to plant 1000 trees in an effort to restore their local ecology. The species planted were white spruce, white pine, tamarack, silver maple and cedar. Pictures are available here!
